The classes are movement based mindfulness. This is rooted in the knowledge of moving the physical body to clear stress and nurture the calmness and clarity in the mind. As we learn to understand the different signs and feelings of stress and calm in the mind and body, issues of feeling overwhelmed and not coping can be dealt with. Physical and mental health problems can prevented through the practice of Mindfulness and moving mindfully. Mindfulness techniques are shared and practiced in this class to help kids and teenagers learn how to deal with stress effectively, calm and balance body and mind, and feel more energized and grounded throughout the day. Classes are a fun and grounding approach to exercise and mindfulness techniques, based on the awareness and flow of Nature. Overall schooling life, activities and interests can be supported and nourished. Once a week for an hour can build skills for life.
